The Youth Center Of White Cloud Inc. Statement of Faith

What we do in ministry is an out pour from the ONLY place that matters : God’s Word The Holy Bible. It’s in the Scriptures that we take our pilosophy for life and ministry that dictates how we operate on a DAILY bases. Here are the are the beliefs that we hold 100% the patters that shape who we are as a ministry. These beliefs is what leads us to our core principles; the bedrock of what The Youth Center Of White Cloud Inc. stands for.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God's Word, just what He wanted us to know - right down to the very words used to communicate His message. It is our only perfect rule of faith (belief) and practice (behavior). (II Timothy 3:16-17; I Corinthians 2:13; II Peter 1:16-21)

The Trinity

We believe in the Holy Trinity, that the One true and living God is eternally existent in three distinct persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). (Matthew 28:19; 1:13-17)

God the Son

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God the Son. He is the only Savior of mankind (Acts 4:12). He is God incarnate in human flesh (Romans 8:3). We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, death in our place, and bodily resurrection (John 3:16; 1:13; Hebrews 1:8; Colossians 1:15-19).

God the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and Son (Acts 5: 3-4). He baptizes all who believe into the Body of Christ, the Church (I Corinthians 12:13). He indwells all believers (Romans 8:9). He fills the obedient believer and guides them into the truth (John 16:7-15). He gives spiritual gifts to believers for the edifying of the Body (I Corinthians 12:4-11).

Humanity

We believe that humans were created in the likeness and image of God (Genesis 1:27). We believe that through the sin of Adam and Eve, humanity fell from its sinless state and all became sinners (Romans 5:12).

Salvation

We believe that mankind is saved from sin only by faith in the shed blood of Christ on the cross (Romans 5:1-9, Hebrews 9:22; I John 1:7). We can only be saved by the grace of God through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16).

Eternal Security

We believe that a person, once saved through faith, cannot lose his/her salvation. Believers are eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 10:27-29; Romans 8:28-29; Colossians 3:3; Ephesians 4:30).

The Church

We believe in the 'Universal Church', made up of all true believers in Jesus Christ in this age (Colossians 1:18; I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23). We believe that the only visible church is the 'Local Church', made up of true believers in a given location and banded together for worship, fellowship, prayer, outreach, and missions.

Christ's Return

We believe in the second coming of Christ; that He will remove from the earth His church in the Rapture, then pour out the righteous judgement of God upon the unbelieving world. Afterwards, He will descend to earth with His saints to establish His glorious and literal Kingdom over all the nations for 1,000 years. (John 14:3; Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4: 16-17; Revelation 20).
